Myotherapy
Myotherapy coming mid June 2024.
What is Myotherapy?
Myotherapy is a type of physical therapy that focuses on the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and associated conditions. It is particularly concerned with the treatment of myofascial pain, which involves discomfort or pain in the muscles and fascia (the connective tissue that surrounds muscles). Myotherapy combines a variety of techniques to alleviate pain and improve physical function.
A myotherapist will incorporate techniques such as massage, trigger point therapy, stretching, dry needling, hot and cold therapy along with exercise rehabilitation and planning.
The goal of myotherapy is to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall physical function.
