Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy focusing on the treatment of pain and dysfunction of the musculo-skeletal system. We employ a “hands-on” holistic approach to treatment identifying the cause of your pain and treating accordingly. We do not underestimate the body’s ability to heal itself but are aware that it sometimes needs a helping hand.

Most commonly we treat neck and shoulder pain, lower back pain, headaches, migraine, workplace and sports injuries along with acute and chronic pain. We treat your condition using a variety of manual techniques including deep tissue massage, dry needling, stretching, joint mobilisation and/or manipulation and exercise prescription.

Our osteopathic practitioners have completed a minimum of five years of study and training at university in anatomy, physiology, pathology, general medical diagnosis and osteopathic techniques. They are government registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and are accredited members of Osteopathy Australia.

You can make an appointment directly with an osteopath, without a referral.
